2021-2023 Council Members Nomination

Dear Members

In accordance with SPETA constitution, SPETA council members must be re-elected every two years. We are pleased to invite you to nominate the council members for the coming 39th AGM scheduled to be held on 8th April 2021 virtually.

• Under the Constitution Clause 34, “All Councillors shall be elected at the General Meeting and until otherwise determined by a General Meeting, the number of Councillors of the Council shall not be less than ten but shall be limited to twenty, and the Council shall elect six office bearers holding the posts of Chairman, three Deputy Chairmen, Secretary and Treasurer.”
• The internal code of Governance required nominated council members should have a fair representation of age, gender, industries etc
• Once the council members have been re-elected, they will then nominate the Office bearers for the same term.

Please submit your nominations of council members for 2021-2023 by 10th March.

In view of the COVID-19, our AGM will be conducted via teleconferencing this year, limiting participants to the office bearers on 8 April 2021.

This is to avoid contact, enhance your safety and complying with the prevailing regulations. We will require you to fill up the proxy and select from the list one office bearer who will represent you.
