New Philadelphia Preschool Financial Policies
Registration fee is due at the time of registration and is non refundable. Space is not guaranteed without this payment. All accounts must be current in order to register for the upcoming year.
Tuition is divided into 9 equal payments and is not based on the number of days in a month. Tuition is paid for the current month of school, except for September tuition, which is due in May (or at time of registration for enrollees after May). Current month payments begin in October. Invoices are sent via email unless otherwise notified. We prefer tuition to be paid through ACH automatic draft, but we will accept check and cash. Cash payments must be for exact amount as we do not keep cash on hand.
Late tuition payments are subect to a late fee if paid after the 10th of the month. After the 15th, the fee increases to $50. After the 20th, your child will not be able to return to school until the fees are paid. Fees asre added monthly until the late tuition is paid.
Tuition adjustments are given when NPP must quarantine a cohort due to illness. The adjustment is calculated on a daily basis and is given as a credit for th enext applicable month. Adjustments are not given for other reasons, such as when a child quarantines at home due to a sick family member or for siblings whose cohort remains open.
Returned check/ACH payments are subject to a fee of $35. Two returned checks/ACH payments will result in future payments paid by certified check or cash.
Travel is an important part of our lives. However, we do not make tuition payment exceptions due to travel. Monthly tuition payments are required to hold your child's space.
Health forms and immunization records are required every school year. Forms not returned by 30 calendar days after the start of school are subject to a $20 fee. After 60 calendar days, the fee increases to $50.
Late pick ups at the regular school day (after 12:10) or after lunch bunch (after 1 pm) will result in a $10 per occurance fee. After 3 late lunch pick ups, the child will no longer be able to stay for lunch bunch.
Withdraws must be made in writing with 30 days notice. Registration fee is non refundable. Tuition during the 30 day period must still be paid unless we are able to fill the vacant spot.
Hardships do arise. Please contact our office if you are experiencing a financial or medical hardship as it relates to tuition or attendance to discuss alternative arrangements.
