Ministry Opportunities

Service Team

Available for applicants ages 14 and up.
Apply to work on our service team for the camp season.
Serve in the kitchen, on maintenance, and in housekeeping.
Be a part of our discipleship program and grow in your faith.

Camp Counsellor

Available for applicants ages 16 and up.
Apply to work as a camp counsellor for the camp season.
Minister to the physical and spiritual needs of campers.

Camp Leadership Team

Available for applicants ages 18 and up.

Support Raising Information

Should you be accepted to join our summer staff team, you will become a summer missionary, which means you will raise financial support (like a missionary going oversees) to help you earn a wage for your hard work! Your expenses, such as room and board, will be completely covered by Word of Life.

It may seem overwhelming to raise support, but should you be accepted, we will provide you with all the resources you need to help you reach your support goal. We provide resouces including a support letter and donation slips to send to potential donors like family, friends, church members, etc. We will also prepare a prayer card with the photo you provide in this application (just like the ones you probably have on your fridge from other missionaries) to include in with the letters you send out.

Support Raising Goals:
Weekly Support Goal: $875
Full Season Support Goal: $6,125
*These support goals are in keeping with Ontario minimum wage
