We appreciate the fact that you have scheduled your mission trip with us. We look forward to being in ministry with you and your team next summer.
We understand the difficulties you face when attempting to schedule a trip such as this - predicting student and adult leader availability, fund raising, issues with parents - just to name a few.
Cancellation Policy & Deposits:
Once you have received your confirmation letter, your dates have been reserved and, in most cases, we will have to turn other groups away that have requested those same dates. Based upon the number of groups for which we have received reservations, we make commitments to staff, and ministry sites. Therefore, you can probably imagine how we are negatively impacted when a group cancels or reduces its numbers. In the unfortunate event that your group would need to cancel its trip entirely, all monies paid (including deposits) are non-refundable.
Reducing Your Numbers:
Deposits are transferable up to February 1 under the following conditions:
Registered up to 7 participants: You may reduce one participant without loss of deposit.
Registered 8-16 participants: You may reduce two participants without loss of deposit.
Registered 17-21 participants: You may reduce three participants without loss of deposit.
Registered 22-25 participants: You may reduce four participants without loss of deposit.
In all cases, the deposit is applied to the second payment. All other deposits are non-transferable, and those monies are forfeited. If you reduce your numbers after March 1 you must pay the total participant fee for the number of people for whom you have reserved space. In other words, if you have reserved ten spaces before May 1, and then reduce your numbers to five after May 1, you are still responsible for paying the full amount of ten participants.
Participation Policy:
The Jeremiah Project requires that all students and adults arrive on the first day of camp between 2-4pm with their youth group and depart on the last day of camp at 10:00 am with their youth group. Participants that arrive late or leave early have a negative impact on the dynamics of their work team and are disruptive to the community. It also has adverse effects on the participant’s experience. The only exceptions to this policy are a death in the family or an illness. We require that each church leader communicate this Jeremiah Project policy to all parents of youth and adult leaders and enforce this policy at the church level.
This form must be signed and submitted within 14 days of submitting your online work camp application. Your group’s application will not be processed until this form is returned to us, signed and dated.
I accept the terms of the Cancellation & Participation Policy of the Jeremiah Project and will honor this agreement:
