Registration Form: BalletX Summer Intensive 2019 Audition

BalletX is currently seeking Company Dancers and Dance Fellows for the 2021-2022 Season. To be considered, please submit your contact information, headshot, dance shot, resume, and audition video below. Videos should include ballet class and performance footage.

Submissions will be accepted through March 12, 2021 at 5:00pm EST. For questions, please contact Tara Keating, Associate Artistic Director, at tkeating@balletx.org.

Dancers who are selected for consideration will be invited to a virtual audition, happening March 31, 2021 from 12:00pm-3:00pm EST. Dancers will be notified of their selection by March 19.

ARTIST INFORMATION

BalletX is committed to hiring artists with substantive ballet technique (including pointe work) and a desire to expand the vocabulary of classical ballet. We are seeking dancers who are artistically talented, diverse, and hardworking. BalletX is a non-profit organization and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religious creed, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, ethnicity, or national origin.

Dancers are asked to submit an audition video, headshot, dance shot, and dance resume detailing their current and past dance training, years of study, and work/performance experience. The audition video must be submitted as a YouTube or Vimeo link. If your link is password protected, please include the password in the field below. Accepted file formats for the documents are as follows: pdf, doc, docx, xls, mpg, jpg, jpeg, png. Applicants who do not submit all materials will not be considered.

DANCE FELLOWSHIP

Each season, BalletX offers up to two dancers a 35-week contract to train alongside the company as BalletX Dance Fellows. While the Dance Fellowship is not a stepping stone into the BalletX company, it is an opportunity for emerging artists to expand their experience and define their goals as they transition into the professional world.

BalletX hosts its two-week virtual Summer Intensive for pre-professional dancers, June 14-25, 2021.
