Exhibit Title: Personal Space: Self Portraits
Exhibit Theme: Our sense of self and personal space have been heightened during these past few months. The self is many things, not just the face that appears in the mirror. Who are you?
Accepting all media, 2D and 3D.
Works will be curated and displayed in a virtual 3D gallery that you can enter, stroll, and view at your own pace.

Juror: Catherine Caddigan
Juror Biography:
Catherine Caddigan received her BFA in Indiana in 1974. She then received a teaching Fellowship at Western Michigan University. She received her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a concentration in photography and printmaking. She currently resides south of Boston. Catherine Caddigan is an artist who has practiced many forms of photography, recently is exploring the possibilities of photography and manipulation with mobile devices.
Catherine has exhibited her work for the last 20 years, in group shows locally, nationally and in International competitions. She was named winner in her category in the prestigious Julia Margaret Cameron Awards for Women Photographers, shown in 2019 in Barcelona (winners accepted from 72 countries), at the Foto Nostrum Gallery, and was shown in the Photography as Art exhibit in Rome in 2020. She is also often featured in interviews and exhibits by several online resources such as the Appwhisperer, a website dedicated to mobile photography.
She is a juried member of the South Shore Art Center, the Cambridge Art Association and the National Association of Women Artists. You may view her work on Instagram @catherinecaddigan.

The Menino Arts Center is run by the Hyde Park Art Association. The MAC serves the neighborhood of Hyde Park, Greater Boston and its suburban counterparts. With over 4000 square feet of space, the MAC is home to a large teaching classroom, seven affordable artist studios, three galleries, an auditorium and the organization’s offices. The mission of the HPAA is to support local artists, make cultural opportunities accessible to families, students, and seniors who may not otherwise have the means to participate; enrich community life, serve as a unifying force in the neighborhood; and help create a more vibrant commercial district.

This show will be juried without reference to your name.
Awards: 1st- $100, 2nd-$75, 3rd-$50, Honorable Mention- $25
Exhibition Fee:
HPAA Members: $10 for up to three pieces
Non Members: $20 for up to three pieces
Sales: All artwork may be for sale. The HPAA retains 30% of the sale price. Please price work accordingly. If not for sale, please write NFS in Price of Entry. Sales will be coordinated through the Menino Arts Center at www.hpaa-mac.org

Eligibility: This call is open to all artists.

Entries exhibited at the MAC and/or HPAA in the last two years are not eligible.
All 2D and 3D media accepted.
Image Upload Guidelines:
1. Save entries as a jpeg at 1500 pixels on the longest side.
2. DO NOT put your name on the jpgs. Entries will be juried with no reference to your name.
Label them with the TITLE ONLY

Liabilities and Responsibilities: The Menino Arts Center will not be responsible for loss or damage of any artwork, no matter what the cause. By submitting artwork to this exhibition, each artist agrees to this statement. Artwork is not insured by HPAA-MAC during the exhibition. Adequate insurance is the sole responsibility of the artist.
No artwork may be removed before the close of the exhibition.
Publicity: By entering this exhibition, the artist gives consent that the submitted images can be used by the Menino Arts Center for reproduction in print and on social media, for publicity and educational purposes, with artist credit given.
