• Potential Flight Bookings

    Flying in cabin only.
  • Hello!!

The purpose of this form is to help deposit holders who are out of state or out of country get the ball rolling on travel plans. By submitting this form you are asking us to take the time to help you figure out the best option for traveling. This is an example of fee-for-service. The date/flights/times you are looking at may not be the best choice so please be flexible. Here are a few tips when looking for flights for traveling with a pet in cabin:

    1. Every airline has their own policy for pet travel. You will need to look at the airline's website or give them a call to understand better. We will need to follow their protocol and will not bend the airlines rules.

For example: United Airlines requires all pets to be at least 4 months if flying in the cabin. We will not change birthdates or write incorrect statements that make a pet look a different age than they are. Same with vaccines and health records.

    2. Airlines often require you to book a "pet ticket" when booking the flight reservation. The pet ticket gives you permission to take a pet on board. Some airlines only allow a certain number of pets per flight. Check with the airline.

    3. We HIGHLY recommend flying a direct flight whenever possible. This reduces stress levels significantly. It is probably worth the extra upcharge to fly back with the pet on a direct flight, or even flying back from a different airport if it gives you a direct flight.

    4. All pets must be flown in an airline approved carrier. You can purchase this online through Amazon. The carrier does NOT need to be super fancy or expensive. You will probably not use the carrier very often so don't go crazy.

    5. We only meet at Orlando Airport (MCO), Sanford Airport (SFB) and Jacksonville airport (JAX) and Daytona Beach (DAB). We do not go to other airports in Florida unless approved ahead of time. I will be very honest and say that we almost NEVER approve meeting at another airport than those listed. In the event we do approve we will contract a 3rd party who will do the transportation. This will not be cheap. This will also chew up your time (fee for service after 1.5 hours).

    6. Certain puppies can only go to certain airports as we are a small business

    • Whitney's puppies can only meet at: MCO, SFB or DAB ($100 airport fee)
    • Kim's puppies can only meet at : JAX ($100 airport fee) and possibly DAB
    • Dianne is not meeting at the airport anymore due to COVID19 but we can possibly contract a family member to meet at JAX with advanced notice

    7. Every puppy will come with a health certificate document to travel. The health certificate meets all requirements for domestic airline travel. You can find example of this on the website.

    • Because of this you must make sure the flight is scheduled within 5 days of our vet visit/health certificate.

    8. Here are some What If Scenarios:

    • If a flight is delayed coming in and we have already left to go to the airport you may be charged a fee-for-service if we are waiting more than 45 minutes. To avoid this we suggest scheduling our meeting time closer to the departure time for the return flight (45-60 minutes out is ideal). If you are outside of the grace period we can not promise that we will continue to wait as we often have other flights/transports happening the same day.
    • If the incoming flight to Florida gets cancelled and we have already left for the airport you will have to pay another airport fee in the event we have to return on a seperate time or date.
    • We do not wait for your departing flight to take off. If your departing flight is significantly delayed please give us a curtesy call to let us know. We will give you suggestions on how to make the experience for puppy. Stay calm! We can try to help you find overnight lodging that is pet friendly. Uber/Lyft/ect is available from all of the airports in Florida
    • If you are taking a vacation in Florida and know you are going to miss your return flight, please call us as soon as possible so we don't leave for the airport.
    • In the event your flight changes completly last minute and we are UNABLE to meet your for the rescheduled flight - you may need to rent a car to pick up from us or uber out and back to get the puppy. You will want to give yourself a 2.5-3 hour round trip travel time if this occurs

    9. Under no circumstances do we reimburse or compensate for buyer's travel. Make everything refundable especially if you are booking travel prior to Draft Day.

    10. If travel plans do NOT seem to be working we will NOT refund you the deposit. The deposit will roll over to the end of the Floating Deposit List and we will need to match you up with a future litter. If you have paid more than the required deposit you will be refunded (or it can stay in your account for the future puppy). You must fill out the reimbursement form in this situation.

    • Any monies paid for international documents/fee for service/purchases at your request will NOTbe refunded.
    • If there are any fees associated with refunding the additional balance that will be deducted from the balance.

    11. Do NOT book on:

    • SUNDAYS - this is our customer free day

    12. Try to avoid:

    • Having us arrive on a week day between 5-7p. This will extend our travel time by 1.5 hours on top of the 3 hour round trip.
    • Within 2 hours of puppy pick up/vet visit. We may not have someone to make the seperate trip to the airport during these events
  • FINALLY

  • SUGGESTIONS FOR FLYING WITH PUPPY.
  • I, , understand that out of state / international clients require more work than Florida Residents. I have reviewed the out of state webpage and Estimated Superbill prior to placing a deposit and prior to completing this form. I am fully aware that there many things out of the iHeart Mini Aussie's control and all travel arrangements will be made as refundable when booked. iHeart Mini Aussies will not EVER reimburse or compensate a buyer for travel expenses under any circumstances.

  • I am aware that iHeart Mini Aussies charges a FEE FOR SERVICE after the complimentary 1.5 hours has been met. While most domestic out of state clients will stay within the 1.5 complimentary services a small percentage will exceed this. International clients often exceed the 1.5 free window. Examples of fee-for-service would be (but not limited to): IG message/emails/phone calls/video chat with customer, flight nanny, or families related to travel, calling airlines or travel related companies, additional vet visits past the routine health certificate, flight delays/cancellations travel, ect. The price for fee for service is listed in the welcome email and is assessed in ten minute intervals. The best way to keep your fee for service low is by reviewing policies and emails ahead of time, scheduling an appointment for longer conversations, and talking with airlines/flight nannys prior to talking to iHeart Mini Aussies.
  • I am aware there is a $100 fee to meet at DAB/MCO or SFB. Fee for meeting at another airport will be determined in writing by iHeart Mini Aussies
  • 90% of out of state clients meet curbside at the airport. This is what I should EXPECT to do when flying in (or flight nanny). I am aware there is an additional fee for meeting inside the airport/terminal due to time spent/parking/fees. This will be assessed day of meeting and will be billed after pick up. This is SEPERATE from the complimentary 1.5 hours fee-for-service. Even if it is agreed in writing, there is no guarantee iHeart Mini Aussies can meet inside the airport or go through TSA.
  • I am aware that final balance PLUS airport fees or any additional fees are due ONE WEEK prior to travel. Final payments should be done via zelle.
  • I am aware that transporters do not respond to text messages while on the road. All communication should be via phone call
