    Applications for any extension beyond 1 week must include supporting documentation as an upload below (such as medical certificates, not-negotiable work-related notifications, letters of support from your pastor, counsellor, etc., which include the dates of the circumstances that affected your ability to study and a recommendation that this extra time is needed to complete your assessment).

  • As standard practice, we aim to only share relevant details regarding your request with those who need to know and we want to respond with care and sensitivity at all times.

    Please note that as part of our usual processes, this information will be shared with your lecturer/assignment marker (either automatically if you apply for "up to 1 week" or through subsequent emails from a member of the Academic Services Team which are cc'd to your lecturer). So, if you would like to keep your reason confidential please tick the box below.

    • Speak or email directly with the Director of Student Services before submitting this request and indicate below that you have shared your circumstances in confidence with them.

    • Select a 2 week extension (even if you want less) and outline your request and reason below. This means that the full details of your request will not be auto-forwarded to your lecturer and a member of the Academic Services Team will respond. Your lecturers want to support you as best they can, so can we encourage you to share general information about the reasons for this extension with them. Your lecturer might also reach out to you if an extension is approved to see how they can support you best.
