PARENT & CHILD DEDICATION

(UPDATE - Held 4x a year, on the 3rd Sunday of the following months: January, April, July, & October)
Congratulations on your desire to dedicate your child to the Lord. As you acknowledge your responsibility to raise your child in a Gospel-centered home, we are committed to coming alongside you to help in this discipleship journey.

Please fill in the form below, to reserve one of the next available dates for Parent & Child Dedication at our Fondren Campus, located at 10611 Fondren Rd.

NOTE: If THIS will be your first time dedicating a child at our church, you are required to attend a mandatory orientation with our Early Childhood Director.

Once you submit your form to our office, our Early Childhood Director will be in touch with you to confirm your registration as well as answer any additional questions you might have. God bless.

Thank you for your desire to dedicate your child to the Lord. We are grateful that you want God to be an important part of your family’s life.

At Braeswood, child dedication is more than a special moment during a worship service. It is a commitment by parents to honor God in their own lives and to raise their child according to His Word.

Because you have indicated that you are currently living together but are not married, we would like to meet with you before scheduling your child’s dedication. Our desire is not to reject you or your child, but to come alongside you pastorally and help you consider the next steps God may be calling you to take in your relationship and family.

There is no required age or deadline for dedicating a child, so we believe it is more important to first address these matters thoughtfully and biblically rather than rush toward a dedication ceremony.

A member of our pastoral team will contact you soon to talk with you, pray with you, and help you determine the appropriate next steps.
