Boston Tree Walks
Speak for the Trees Boston is looking to create tree walks throughout the city to engage and educate local communities about the importance of their trees. We are asking the community for recommendations of SPECIFIC and INDIVIDUAL street, park, or yard trees in your neighborhood. We would love your input by nominating trees! For example, do you know about a particularly old or beautiful tree, historically significant tree, or tree that is important to you or the community? The responses we receive through this form will be used to create tree walks in different neighborhoods that families can use to learn more about the special trees in our city.

If you know the address, please enter it here with any additional information to help us locate the exact tree you are referring to. Please be as specific and detailed as possible!
Please use the map below to place a pin over the tree so we know where it is. Once you are zoomed in to the general location it can be helpful to switch to satellite view so you can see the tree and place the pin accurately.
If you know the species of the tree, what is it?
Let us know if you have more information or a story to tell about the tree. This will help us when we make a guide telling users more about the trees included on the walk.
If you have a picture of the tree saved, please upload it here.
If you are on a phone and would like to take a picture of the tree now, this button will take you to your camera.
