Hamilton Arts Week Presenter Guidelines (Please Read)
The Hamilton Arts Council (HAC) is seeking applications from presenters to appear during Hamilton Arts Week, June 3 - 12, 2021

Applications will be accepted until April 9, 2021 at noon
All applicants will be contacted by April 16, 2021

HAC is currently seeking applications to fill approx. ten (10) signature presentation opportunities, and will prioritize diverse and inclusive representation in programming. Presentations will be selected to include an array of Arts Genres, Target Audiences, and Regional Locations from across Hamilton.

Presentations will be directly arts associated, and align with Hamilton Arts Weeks goals to educate, inspire, and connect our community.

Presenter Eligibility & Priorities
- This call is open to all Hamilton regionally-based arts and creative industry presenters.
- Presentations will be approx. 30-45mins long. This can include introductions, main content, Q&A, and will vary on a case by case basis.
- Eligible Presenters/Performers will demonstrate experience or capacity to deliver an online presentation to a standard that best represents the field of presentation.
- A one-off honoraria, of $500.00 CAD, will be paid to each presentation, (not per participant), presenters are expected to coordinate and prepare all aspects of the digital presentation.
- Hamilton Arts Week presentations will not promote or encourage any kind of participation, or activity that opposes or conflicts with municipal, provincial, or federal guidelines for safety in relation to the pandemic.
- Presenters are encouraged to advocate for the arts, and associated frameworks for supporting donations. Live presenters will be issued with relevant information to share with viewers
- Recordings/Live presentations may include new or existing works. Where showcasing existing pre-recorded work, introductory inserts will be added to highlight Hamilton Arts Week, to promote the Hamilton 'Save The Arts' Initiative, and to identify major sponsors.
- Pre-recorded presentations must be delivered to HAC by May 14, 2021
- Presenters will actively promote their participation in Hamilton Arts Week between April 16th - June 12, 2021 .
- Presenters will participate in evaluative summaries following their participation
- HAC may offer limited support to (advanced) requests for assistance with technical logistics.
