BFA Spring Grant Proposal- NOW OPEN!
  • BFA Spring Grant Proposal- NOW OPEN!

  • On behalf of the BFA Scholarship Committee, we are pleased to announce the Spring BFA grant funding cycle for Academic Year (AY) 2020-21.

Applications for each type of award must come to the BFA Scholarship Committee via the Jot-Form Link. Please do not send applications directly to committee members. Applicants are encouraged to explore whether funding for the proposed activities may be available from other sources (e.g., faculty travel monies, annual software allowances), as the BFA has limited funds to disburse. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all funds have been disbursed. ****Please pay special attention to the highlighted information in #6 below.

    SPECIAL ATTENTION:

    1. Funds must be encumbered by June 30, 2021 or the money will be returned to the BFA Scholarship Committee.
    2. Priority will be given to assistant and associate professors, but all are encouraged to apply. Each award may be partially- or fully funded (or not funded at all).
    3. Applicants should thoroughly describe the proposed activity so that reviewers understand the purpose, and include an itemized budget (1-page max).
    5. An abbreviated CV is also required.
    6. Applicants may submit applications in the fall or spring semester but will be eligible for ONLY 1 award per academic year. Faculty may request up
to a maximum of $1000. If you receive an award of any amount in the fall semester, you are not eligible to receive an award during the spring
semester. This is change from previous years, so please plan accordingly.

Applications are DUE February 28, 2021 at midnight!
