If you've landed on this page, that means you are interested in adopting one of our family-friendly doodles. We're so excited for you! The first step is to fill out the application below. We love our puppies and want to make sure that they not only go to a good home but also thrive once they are adopted. Every family has different needs and we know that not everyone can be home caring for their pup around the clock, so this application will give us some indications as to whether your home and family are a good fit for our pups and what we can do to help make the transition easier. At the bottom, you'll also find valuable information regarding your next steps in the adoption process.

Once the application is completed, please allow three business days for the application to be reviewed. A response notifying you of your admittance to or refusal from our waiting list will be generated in that time.

How did you first learn about Snowflake Doodles?

Completing this application is the first step in the process to adoptiong a puppy from Snowflake Doodles, but it does not guarantee a puppy from this or any future litter.

APPROVAL AND DEPOSIT: Applications are reviewed and acknowledged within 3 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received.

Once approved, you will have 72 hours to make a deposit on a puppy, thus holding your place on the waiting list. If you make a deposit, you are committing to buy a puppy, regardless of whether your gender preference is available.

If you choose to not purchase a puppy from the litter, you may be transferred to the waiting list for another litter, however all deposits are non-refundable.

GOING HOME: It is critical for the puppy's emotional well-being and development that the puppies settle with their forever homes shortly after weaning has taken place. If you are unable to pick up your puppy on the appointed date the litter is to go home, Snowflake Doodles can provide care for $35 a day with advanced notice.

If you have travel plans shortly after your puppy's adoption or other conflicts that would interfeere with the raising and training of a puppy, please be aware that puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their full immunizations and their rabies vaccination, which cannot be done until 3 months of age. We offer in-house boarding services for all stages of your adopted pup, but encourage it especially in those first 3 months because if the adopted family is temproarilly unable to care for the pup, who better than their birth mama?

CONTRACT: We will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. You can view our contract on our website under the tab marked 'forms'. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.

SPAY/NEUTER: We require spay/neuter at or before 18 months of age, along with verification. We do not sell to breeders. If you do not spay/neuter your doodle, unless you are under a guardian home agreement, we reserve the right to retrieve him/her back into the custody of Snowflake Doodles.

REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our excellent family companions do not come with registration papers to any registry. Currenlty, the AKC, UKC, CKC nor any other widly recognized pure-breed dog registry recognize doodles as a distinct breed. If you would like to see the registration papers of the dam and/or sire, please request that information.
