By scheduling any service with Different Details & Ceramic Coatings, you hereby agree to all terms and conditions listed on the following said service agreement.
If "we" (Different Details) are providing a detail service at our shop located in Perrysburg or a mobile service at your location, both parties can expect and agree upon the following:
- Along with this appointment form, you received an itemized PDF estimate for your vehicle. The itemized estimate outlines everything that is included in the package/service that you requested/selected. Please note, that it is only an estimate until an in-person assessment of your vehicle on the day of your appointment is conducted but the majority of the time the estimate is the final cost/price. *We may request the you provide photos of your vehicle in order to help provide you an accurate estimate. You can submit those requested photos at the bottom of this form or you may text them to 419-855-2677.
- Before we can schedule your appointment, you will need two items from you. First, you must approve the estimate (by clicking the link/tab on the digital copy of the estimate) We also will need the signing of this appointment form. Once we receive your approval of the estimate and your electronic signature of this form with your appointemnt deposit, the next step is selecting your appointment date! You will receive a scheduling email (within 24 hours of your approval *excluding weekends) with available dates and time-slots to set your appointment.
- Scheduling - Shop Vs. Mobile: Mobile service/appointments are only available to our Fleet accounts and a few Clean Car Club members. Mobile appointments are only provided on Mondays. Services at our shop (742 W. Boundary Suite C (rear) Perrysburg, Ohio) are scheduled year round - Tuesday through Friday and half day appointments on Saturdays. * We offer Saturday morning appointments. 8:00am - 12:30pm time-slot for those clients who may need a weekend appointment.
- Please Note - (On Mobile Appointments): For your convenience and for a more positive customer experience, our service is designed to be completely self-sufficient when we are out in the field. We will bring/provide our own water supply and an eco-friendly power source for your detail appointment. (We will not need to use your water/hose or electricity)
- We require a Min. 48-Hour notice to reschedule or cancel your detailing appointment. Failure to do so can result in the surrender of your $35.00 deposit (Ceramic coating packages require $95.00 deposit) *Deposits will be applied as a cancellation fee if your appointment is cancelled and not rescheduled.
- * If possible... but not required to perform the detail, we ask that you please remove all personal belongings from the vehicle, (car seats, coffee cups, coins/money, loose trash, water bottles, etc) and other significant items from the vehicle before the start time of your detail appointment. If areas such as the center console, door cubbies, misc. storage compartments or the glove compartment are full and not cleared, we will not be able to detail fully those areas in respect to you (the client) and your private personal belongings and will work around them.
- Due to child safety and our insurance recommendation, we will not be able to remove or replace car seats or booster seats under any circumstances. We ask that you (the client) please remove all car seats and booster seats prior to your appointment. Should the car seat be left in the vehicle we will do our best to clean around the car seat area(s).
- We reserve the right to amend the original estimate pricing before the detail after an in-person assessment of the vehicle. A minimum of $36.00 surcharge will be applied to all details that involve excessive pet hair, sand, or other hazardous materials/body fluids previously not disclosed. *Please note: Pet hair and sand are two of the toughest items to remove from a vehicle even with deep vacuuming techniques. The total removal of either element is not guaranteed with any of our detail package offerings. However, on most occasions, we are successful at removing 90-95% to just minuscule visual traces.
- We can make no promises or guarantees when it comes to the complete removal of stains and/or odors from vehicles. Please be aware that some stains can be permanently set from previous attempts to clean/remove them or length of time that has past. We will consult with you about what can and cannot be done concerning your vehicle's interior seats and/or carpets.
- The headliner will be spot treated and gently cleaned, however, there may be remaining stains. If you have a heavily solied headliner, please understand that the glue used to attach headliners will start to release if cleaned too aggressively or with strong chemicals. Please note, headliners may not come completely clean for this reason. If you choose to clean them at your own risk, be careful, they may look clean but can detach/sag over time due to the glue being compromised. *We only use chemicals and products designed for automotive detailing on all interior/exterior areas.
- Per manufacturer recommendations, only gentle seat belt + buckle cleaning will be performed.
- We are not responsible for baked-on brake dust that cannot be completely removed either on the surface or deep within the wheel/rim. Please note: Brake dust is extremely toxic to your wheels (and paint) and will eventually eat through your clear coat causing clear coat failure. Some wheels are unfortunately beyond cleaning/reconditioning to a like new appearance and may need to be repaired or replaced.
- Tar, sap, bird droppings, & bug splatter are extremely toxic and will chemically etch into your vehicle's exterior paint surface if left untreated over a period of time. This will result in a deep chemical mark on the paintwork known as etching that may need additional work to safely remove (For example - compound and polishing with a dual-action or rotary polisher). In some cases, depending on how long it has been on the paint surface, the mark cannot be removed completely without comprising the clear coat.
- Regarding our ceramic coating guarantee: After installing a ceramic coating to your vehicle's paint, wheels, trim or glass. You must schedule your annual (once per year) coating maintenance appointment here at our shop, if not, we can be no longer be held responsible for any premature coating failure. We can only guarantee the ceramic coating if you return for your follow up coating maintenance (min. once a year). Your first maintenance appointment is complimentary and part of your coating package if scheduled within 90 days of install.
- After your detail package (Reset or Revive package) you will receive information on joining our Clean Car Club membership/maintenance program. These memberships were designed to help you to protect, preserve, and to continue to enjoy driving detailed! With our "Seasonal" detailing plan, you receive a discounted price point for each appointment. You will receive 2 or 3 maintenance detail appointments scheduled every 120 - 180 days apart (scheduled in advance for the calendar year) to help you enjoy your vehicle and help you drive detailed! *You must contact us within 60 days following your initial detail appointment to qualify for the program.
- Regarding payment: (Upon completion of your detail) We accept all major credit cards, checks, (Made payable to Different Details), and of course cash.
