The fine print* This field is required.Entrants must be recent graduates (within past 5 years) or final year students from a recognised tertiary level fashion design course. There are no design restrictions, sections or specifications for collections, other than an emphasis on innovation, originality, creativity, quality and extension. Designers who are chosen as finalists will be given three weeks to film themselves and their collection. Organisers aren’t expecting professional video production, the designer can film themselves explaining their design inspiration and showing their collection on a phone. Don’t worry about this it’s easy and finalists will be sent guidelines. Check out the 2020 iD International Emerging Designer Awards film shot by designers and edited by NHNZ on our website. New Zealand designers chosen as finalists are expected to attend at their own cost the iD International Emerging Designer Show in Dunedin on Saturday 19 June 2021. If the New Zealand border reopens finalists from any other country are welcome to attend the iD International Emerging Designer Show in Dunedin on Saturday 19 June 2021- at their own cost.
