    New Team Application
  • Introduction

The American National Cricket League (ANCL), established in 2020, is dedicated to advancing the sport of cricket throughout the Washington DMV region. As the local cricket community continues to grow rapidly, ANCL remains committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every team and player can enjoy fair, impartial, and highly competitive play. Upholding these values is central to the league’s mission.

ANCL envisions becoming the premier cricket league in the United States by adopting modern technologies, developing top-tier talent through high‑quality tournaments, and building a strong grassroots foundation that empowers youth to showcase their abilities.

The league will operate under a divisional structure and will primarily host T20 and 40/40 format tournaments.
