  • 2021 Outdoor Events - Umpire Manager & Umpire Coach Expression of Interest Form

  • This form is to be used for any officials that wish to express interest in filling the role of Umpire Manager, Assistant Umpire Manager or Umpire Coach at any of the 2021 Hockey Victoria Outdoor Events. 

    Following the deadline, all expressions of interest will be considered by Hockey Victoria in conjunction with the Hockey Victroria Officiating Committee (HVOC) prior to appointments being made. 

    Expressions of interest will close at 5.00pm on Wednesday 31st March and Hockey Victoria will endeavour to inform all successful candidates of their appointments within a fortnight.

  • The 2021 Junior State Championships is scheduled to take place in regional Victoria in the Term 2 school holidays.

    There will be two venues utilised, with all the girls age groups based in Bendigo and all the Boys age groups based in Shepparton. There will be 1 x Umpire Manager and 2 x Assistant Umpire Managers based in each location.  

    The event will run for 4 days from Thursday 1st July to Sunday 4th July. 

    Umpire Managers and Assistant Umpire Manaegers will need to be available for the full 4 days of the Event. It should be noted that there are NO HV competitions on the same weekend as the JSC in 2021. 

    All appointed Umpire Managers and Assistant Umpire Manaegers will be provided with a gratuity payment and will have accommodation provided from the 31st June - 4th July (4 nights in total). They will be responsible for their own food and travel.

    The umpires that are appointed to the Under 18 panel at the JSC will be required to assist with Umpire Coaching throughout the Event, so at this stage we are not seeking expressions of interest for Umpire Coaches at the JSC.
