Neverland Bullies Kennels
Completing this application is a step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Neverland Bullies Kennels. This application alone does NOT guarantee you will receive a puppy from this, or any future litter, if you have NOT placed an agreed upon deposit, or kept an agreed upon payment plan.
Approval And Deposit
I reserve the right to take up to 2 business days to review an application. Applications are processed in the order in which they were received. If your home is a good fit, you will be notified. Neverland Bullies Kennels breeds infrequently, and for this reason, we ONLY accept deposits when puppies are expected or currently available. During pregnancy, approved homes will receive a link, via e-mail, to make a nominal commitment for a puppy. Links, like the application process, are sent out in the order in which applications were approved. Deposits are to be made within 24-48 hours of the link being sent. NO LATER. Not making a nominal commitment within 48 hours of a link surrenders your place in line. In making a nominal commitment, you are committing to a puppy from the litter, regardless of the availability of your color/gender preference. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If done in a timely manner, we may privately discuss transfer to a different litter.
Your Pick of Puppy
Puppies will be assigned in deposit order, by the first or second preference of the depositor, as indicated on the application. (First to make a deposit is set for first pick, second to make a deposit is second to pick, and so on.) If neither of your choices are available, you may elect another puppy from the litter. The Kennel asks that you make a decision within 24 hours of notification, so as not to make other applicants sit and wait to make their decision. Should you elect to NOT take a puppy from the litter, your deposit is then forfeited. That deposit will then be applied to costs of finding the puppy another home. Due to irregular breeding, this deposit will NOT be applied to any future litters. Please review BOTH Deposit Policies and Pick of the Litter Policies on our website for any updates.
Going Home
We will NOT hold puppies for extended periods. It is crucial, for many reasons, that we do NOT do this. For the sake of their social development, it is critical that the litter depart in a timely manner. If you have a vacation planned, or big upcoming events, please note that a puppy can NOT stay in a kennel facility until they have received their full vaccinations and a Rabies, which can NOT be given until 3 months of age. Please plan accordingly for your puppy to come home when fully weaned and ready
Contract
We have a contract. PLEASE PROOF READ. Neverland Bullies Kennels will NOT place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it is in the best interest of the Kennel, and the Buyer, to memorialize our obligations and commitments on paper, so there can be NO questions later. For this reason, it is lengthy. Again, PLEASE PROOF READ. Any questions regarding terms and conditions need to be addressed PRIOR to picking up your puppy.
Spay/Neuter
We REQUIRE a spay/neuter be done by 14 WEEKS. IF YOU ARE A BREEDER, YOU NEED TO BE READING THIS if you are buying a PET HOME and intend to breed. This may seem hypocritical at first glance, but we have a “Take-Back Provision” in our contract. Any puppy from our Kennel always has a home here so they never experience the fear and burden of life in a shelter. Thus, for safety reasons, spay/neuter is REQUIRED. Taking back an unaltered puppy/dog can pose significant risks to our family and our own animals. With the possibility an unaltered dog could come back pregnant, or with a canine STD, it is REQUIRED to spay/neuter. Sadly, many well-intentioned folks do not remember to spay/neuter, and suddenly their barely adolescent dog is pregnant by many studs of unknown heritage. Spay surgery while pregnant is risky, and some canine STDs, such as brucellosis, can be transferred to humans. To not spay and neuter poses unacceptable risks to the Kennel’s family and other animals if the provision has to be used. In properly being responsible for the puppy’s health, puppies MUST be de-sexed; unless you have papers and breeding rights. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Registration Papers
Our excellent family companions come with UKC or ABKC papers if you purchased FULL RIGHTS. A puppy will come with registration papers for whichever registry the parents were registered with.
AT THIS TIME, UKC AND ABKC ARE BACK LOGGED. YOUR PAPERS WILL BE MAILED.
