We are looking to hear how this group can continue to grow and strengthen its community collaborations. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback!
Healthy Shelby County's Healthy Eating Action Team mission statement: "HEAT serves to connect and advance efforts to improve healthy eating opportunities and food security in Shelby County."
The below questions aim to determine what interest and capacity you might have to help us achieve this mission. This is simply to share our goals and gather your feedback, without any pressure to commit to joining HEAT.
One of our main goals has been to educate our community about healthier food choices.

Our third goal has been to promote healthy food donations and food drives.

developing and distributing a list of preferred, healthy food donations (from donors/grocery store consumers)
collaborating with grocery retailers, especially those already involved with or sponsoring food drives, to develop a health-minded policy for pre-packaged food donation bags (using the preferred list/resource) for customers to use
