Although Kitty Krew Rescue does appreciate when foster parents have their own pets that the fosters may be exposed to, some foster animals will need to be kept separate from any resident animals for various lengths of time. The Foster Coordinator will let me know when this applies, and I agree to comply and keep the animals separate for the protection of the foster animals and my own pets. I also agree to bring my foster animals to medical appointments (if applicable) and to keep the Foster Coordinator updated on the foster animals' progress. Further, I understand that the foster approval process is different than the adoption approval process, and although fosters do get priority for adoption, I am not guaranteed to be able to adopt any fosters. Additionally, if I choose to and am approved to adopt, I understand my foster(s) may still have to come back to the Rescue, as adoptions cannot happen until the animal is spayed/neutered, and the Rescue cannot always coordinate the scheduling of that with the foster parent's schedule. Kitty Krew Rescue does encourage the posting of fosters on social media, but I also understand that marketing my fosters to people I know does not guarantee that they will be able to adopt my foster(s). Although Kitty Krew Rescue will welcome and consider my input on my foster(s) ideal home, I understand that I do not get to choose their adoptive family.
