ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND LIABILITY WAIVER
TO RECEIVE PET FOOD DONATION
o Proof of unemployment, income status, or disability with valid form of I.D.
o Recipient must be the pet owner and at least 18 years of age or older
o Only 1 (1) person in the household can apply for services.
o Must Reside in MOBERLY MO
o You may only receive food assistance from us one (1) time per month.
o We are a temporary pet food source, not long-term.
o We reserve the right to make exceptions to how much or how often we donate to an individual based on need.
o Food is on a first-come, first serve basis.
o Recipient must be present to receive assistance
o We do not deliver.
o We are unable to provide assistance to breeders, individuals/groups feeding feral animals, rescue group foster parents, or those using pets for illegal activities.
o We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, under any circumstances.
o Pets must be for companionship and not for breeding or illegal activities.
o Pets must be part of the family with a healthy environment and living conditions.
o Pet food recipients cannot take on any additional animals while receiving assistance.
o We accept all kinds of pet food. By accepting food and or services from the Pantry, the recipient, all household members, their friends and family agree to NOT hold the Pantry, it’s staff, volunteers, and benefactors legally liable in the unfortunate event the recipient’s pet becomes ill or the food upsets the pet’s stomach.
o When one receives pet food from the pantry, they are made aware of the potential risks involved with feeding their pet(s) a new food since it’s unlikely that the pet food received is the recipient’s usual brand.
o I as the recipient agree to not resell, redistribute, or attempt to return any donated food or any other care items to a store or sell to any other individual. Reselling is prohibited and will result in the termination of our services.
