  • Membership Notes

    1. Persons under 16 may not be members.

    2. Members need to satisfy the ‘local connection’ qualifying criteria as set out in Policy HP7 of the Petersfield Neighbourhood Plan 2013. The below application questions will test this for you.

    3. Members each have one vote at general meetings regardless of how many shares they hold.

    4. Shares will never be worth more than I pay for them, and could even reduce in value and there will be no dividend payable to shareholders.

    5. By acquiring £10 of shares, I am signing up to the governing documents of the CLT and any Standing Orders in force.

    6. This is not a savings scheme and I may not get any or all of my money back should I ever ask for this in the future.

    7. If I wish to leave the CLT, I must apply in writing to the Secretary at the Registered
Office when the Board will decide if my share money can be returned. The CLT does
not guarantee it will have sufficient funds to do so.

    8. The shares are not backed by any compensation scheme or ombudsman.

    9. I must provide the CLT with a copy of some form of photographic ID in order to verify my identity once my application has been accepted.

    10. This application will be considered by the elected Board of
Directors and may not be accepted.
