  • Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes de-worming, vaccinations, prevention, and spaying/neutering (if of age)  prior to their adoption.

  • This questionnaire is designed to help Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue and yourself determine if a specific dog is the right one for you and your household. All adopting parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. Bark at the Moon reserves the right to deny any adoption based on answers to this questionnaire and/or interviews prior to adoptions!

You will get to take the dog into your home the day they arrive into care, and will have two weeks with them to work through all basic training, and allow them to adjust to your home with the support of our team.*

  • Setting up our adopters and our dogs for success is the most important thing for BATM! Part of the process is ensuring that our adopters are committed to continued learning with their dogs and ensuring their success once they arrive into their forever homes.
