Roads Less Traveled strongly recommends that you purchase trip insurance.

Reservations, Deposits and Cancellations

Normally we require a deposit in the amount of $600 per person. Deposits are non-refundable. We recognize the unpredictable nature of travel these days so are allowing guests to reserve spots on our tours by completing only the reservation form. A $600 per person deposit will not be due until later in 2021, once we can assess the viability of our schedule. We will notify you when we are again accepting deposits.

Remaining balance is due 60 days prior to tour start date. All payments by bank transfer or PayPal.

If you cancel your trip please notify Roads Less Traveled in writing. Upon our receipt of notice the following charges apply. Refund of nal payment amount if cancellation received by:

45-60 days before departure - 80%
30-44 days before departure - 50%
15-29 days before departure - 25%
Less than 15 days before departure - no refund

On receipt of this completed form, signed release and deposit, we will reserve your space (based on availability). Signature on release required. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the tour end date.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

BOOKING CONDITIONS: I agree to follow the safety directions of the tour manager and exercise reasonable care in all activities in which I participate. I understand Roads Less Traveled (RLT) reserves the right to decline to accept or to require to withdraw from a tour at any time at his/her own expense any traveler it deems to be incapable of meeting the requirements and rigors of tour activities, or any traveler whose actions impede tour operations or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour members. I consent to RLT and its agents’ taking of photographic images of me while on the tour for their promotional purposes.

RLT does not control independent service providers and suppliers such as accommodations, restaurants, and other travel services and cannot be responsible for any delay, inconvenience, accident, expense, injury, loss whatsoever through the conduct or default of these service providers or suppliers. Each of the providers and the suppliers is subject to the laws of the country in which the tour takes place.

ASSUMPTION OF ALL RISKS: I voluntarily apply to participate on a tour under the arrangements of RLT with knowledge of the inherent hazards and risks involved, including but not limited to: motor vehicles, aircraft, boats; the forces of nature; civil disturbance; terrorism; government restrictions among many unforeseeable other risks (“Risks”). I have considered my own condition and limitations, potential Risks, and physical demands and I have concluded that I am physically and emotionally fit and able to participate in this tour. I agree to be responsible for my own welfare and accept any and all Risks.

TRAVELING TO/FROM EUROPE: RLT cannot accept responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, acts of God or other causes beyond our control. RLT does not accept liability for any airline carrier's cancellation penalty or change fee incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable ticket connected with the tour.

I HAVE READ THE ABOVE AGREEMENT AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO SIGN THIS DOCUMENT. NO ORAL REPRESENTATIONS OR INDUCEMENTS APART FROM THIS AGREEMENT HAVE BEEN MADE, AND I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS AGREEMENT CANNOT BE ALTERED OR WAIVED, EXCEPT IN WRITING, AND THEN SIGNED AND CONSENTED TO BY BOTH PARTIES.
