Monumental Impact is a registered 501(c)(3) Colorado nonprofit serving high school students, college students, adults and seniors as a community makerspace. Monumental Impact, also referred to as MITEE, (Monumental Impact for Technology, Engineering and Entrepreneurship), is connecting youth and community members with career pathways in technology, engineering, and entrepreneurship. .

These mentoring workshops are open to our Monumental Impact community members and to neighbors throughout the Tri-Lakes area who want to dip a toe into makerspace life and see what’s possible with our equipment.

If you’d like to make a project to take home, just bring the materials for your item and make a minimum $20 contribution to help us maintain the equipment and keep the space running smoothly.

If you prefer to observe, learn, and follow along without making anything, the workshop is free to attend.

If you find yourself enjoying the atmosphere (and we think you will), we highly recommend joining our community as a member so you can keep creating, learning, and building right alongside us. 😉

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Monumental Impact and Bearbotics during the selected program. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy in this program, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Monumental Impact, Bearbotics and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected program sessions.

In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against Monumental Impact. Including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all activities involving mechanisms and moving objects. The types of injuries involved in this program include, but are not limited to, the risk of bruising, eye injuries or torn skin.
