• Residence Life Staff Application

  • Candidates who meet the following preferred qualifications will be given the highest consideration:

    • Minimum 2.5 GPA at time of application and hire
    • No pending student conduct sanctions

    Applicants should check in advance how their financial aid package might be affected by appointment to a position in Residence Life. 

  • POSITION SUMMARIES

     

    ACADEMIC YEAR POSITIONS 


    Resident Advisors 

    • Eligibility - On-campus students with 1 semester on campus living experience
    • Compensation - On-campus housing, meal plan and monthly stipend paid (do not have to be work-study eligible)
    • Responsibilities - Administrative tasks, advising residents, building security (on-duty), policy enforcement & programming

    Residence Life Managers

    • Eligibility - On-campus students with 1 semester Resident Advisor experience
    • Compensation - On-campus housing, meal plan and monthly stipend paid (do not have to be work-study eligible) - 10 month contract required (Mid July - Mid May)
    • Responsibilities - Administrative tasks, supervising student staff, campus on-call rotation and response, policy enforcement, office hours

    Night Monitors 

    • Eligibility - On-campus students
    • Compensation - Hourly work-study
    • Responsibilities - Front desk staffing (building security monitoring, spare key check-outs & guest check-ins)

    RHA Executive Board Member 

    • Eligibility - On-campus students
    • Compensation - Stipend paid (at the end of semester) (do not have to be work-study eligible)
    • Responsibilities - Plan and host events for residence hall students, survey the needs of campus residents and propose policy updates and purchases to Residence Life administration 

    SUMMER POSITIONS


    Summer Housing/Camps Support Staff

    • Eligibility - On-campus students
    • Compensation - On-campus housing and hourly-wage for assigned cleaning 
    • Responsibilities - Administrative tasks, advising residents, front desk staffing, building security (on-duty), policy enforcement & room inspections/cleaning

    Summer Housing/Camps Support Lead

    • Eligibility - On-campus students
    • Compensation - On-campus housing and monthly stipend 
    • Responsibilities - Summer camps and swim lessons day-to-day administrative operations, customer service representative, room inspections/cleaning, campus on-duty rotation, & office hours
