    Text: Acts 11:1-18

    Main Idea:  God’s people must be willing to adjust their thinking to align with God’s will so that the Gospel will not be hindered but carried to all people.

  • 1.  A Major Readjustment: As believers we must always be willing to adjust our      thinking and align our will with God’s will. (v. 1-4)

    •    should never be more important than the Gospel.
    • Filling the Church with “         ” of people is not God’s plan.
    • Doing ministry, the way we have      done it, may not be God’s will.

     
    2. Lessons on Divine Guidance: We must learn to discover God’s will &      our lives appropriately. (v. 5-16)

    • Seek God: Start with      . (v. 5a)
    • Hear from God: Seek God’s will in God’s      . (5b-10)
    • See from God: Recognize God’s      workings in our lives. (v. 11-12)
    • Hear from Others: Have affirmation by      counsel. (v. 12, Deut 19:15)
    • Look for tilled ground: God will have      the way. (v. 13-14)
    • Look for God’s blessing: God will always      His will! (v. 15-16)

     
    3.  God’s Blessing: God changes our thinking so that we can be His      in His work. (v. 17-18)

    • God uses His people to offer the      of salvation to others. (v. 17)
    • God uses His people to call people to salvation granting them      as a gift that leads to life. (v. 18)
