How to Join a Free Trial Class
Find Your Level: Unsure where to start? Use our guide below to find the best class for your current experience.
Beginner's Guide to Class Levels
Level 1: Introduction to Classical Ballet
Perfect for those with no or very little prior experience. Join others who are starting from scratch and discover the basic fundamentals of ballet and technique in a supportive environment. You will be with like-minded people at the same starting point.
Level 2: Foundation Beginners Ballet
This class is ideal if you already have some foundational knowledge of basic steps, understand class structure, and know ballet etiquette. It's also great for those returning to ballet after a long break.
Level 3: Ballet Progression
Designed for those with solid foundational knowledge who want to progress.This class introduces more challenging concepts, such as pirouettes, and encourages you to aim higher. Taking multiple classes per week is recommended if you want to improve faster or work towards achieving en pointe if that is your dream!
Level 4:Classical Development Designed for adult dancers with several years of consistent training or returning from break after training at a higher level as a child, looking to refine their technical precision and deepen their understanding of ballet as an art form.
Levels 5 and 6: Intermediate and Advanced classes are for those who have continued with their ballet or had a small break and are returning to our unique studio as adult dancers.
Contemporary Dance Open Level: Limón and Cunningham techniques are distinct modern dance methods for our Contemporary class, there is no floor work, focus on freedom of the spine, movement and expolation, patterns and breath work. Contemporary music.
The Fifth Hour Movement Class Open Level: The Fifth Hour™ offers a unique experience that combines fitness, artistry, and flow, all set to beautiful music. 60-minute movement class that blends the strength and grace of ballet with the energy of a full-body workout.
Minimal dance experience is needed, just a willingness to move.
This class flows through barre, centre, and stretch work to build strength, improve posture, and release tension while raising your heart rate in a way that feels natural and empowering.
You’ll tone, lengthen, and leave feeling taller, lighter, and re-energised after a day at work or sitting!
What to Bring
Comfortable clothing gym/yoga/dancewear.
Ballet shoes (optional for your trial; socks are absolutely fine for your first class).
A positive attitude and readiness to have fun!
