RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR NYB PARTICIPANTS
Each participant is required to always maintain the highest standard of personal conduct. In the event of serious misconduct, the participant will be removed from Virtual NYB 2021 participation.
The NYB project manager, in consultation with the artists, chaperones and music director, and will determine the action to be taken in the event that the behaviour of any NYB member is deemed unacceptable.
Participants are required to attend all functions as designated in the NYB schedule or as specified by the NYB project manager and/or music director.
Proper zoom etiquette will be required as outlined in the email to participants.
Attend all rehearsals, performances and functions of the NYB.
PARTICIPANT MEDIA RELEASE STATEMENT
I give consent to have photos/video/film/audio of myself taken and used in the promotional materials of the National Youth Band of Canada. My images, videos, and audios may be published or used in newspapers, promotional videos, program brochures, posters, Facebook, YouTube, DVDs, etc. or otherwise displayed to the public or used for other promotional purposes, either in whole or in part by the National Youth Band of Canada or its members.
I also give permission to have my information shared with the Canadian Band Association Board of Directors and its provincial member chapters executives.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand the contents of this Media Consent Form and have been given full opportunity to discuss the implications of this consent of my own free will.
I acknowledge that I have been selected as a member of the Canadian Band Association's 2021 National Youth Band of Canada (NYB) and agree to pay the non-refundable participation fee of $50.00. I further understand that:
The NYB is taking place on-line this year and I will be at all events.
March 1: (Monday) the band will be announced.
Full payments ($30) will be due by March 7.
March 7: (Sunday) will be NYB’s initial meeting. Dr. Darrin Oehlerking and Janet Yochim will be available to welcome you and discuss what the next few weeks will look like.
March 20: (Saturday) 12:00 Noon CST
