    • £5 for lockout during office hours (including lost or stolen keys)
    • £20 for lockout out of office hours (or calling out of hours if keys are lost or stolen)
    • £50 key charge applies to replace your keys if they are lost or stolen.
    • Payable via bank transfer within 7 days

    Health & Safety;

    • I will not leave heaters/lights/appliances on whilst I am not in the room.
    • I will keep all corridors and landings free from storage of items.
    • I will not wedge open a fire door or hang items on a fire door which hinders the doors ability to close
    • I will not tamper with any fire equipment, including smoke detectors/fire blankets
    • I will not maliciously activate any fire alarm call point, and I am aware that a fine will apply should I do so (this may be served via the Fire Service)
    • I will ensure that all electrical items brought to site are PAT Tested (at cost of tenant) and approved by Management
    • I will not bring in a deep fat fryer, rice cookers or air fryers to my accommodation
    • I will not smoke within the premises or surrounding areas of the accommodation
    • I will not use or distribute illegal substances on accommodation property
    • E-Scooter and eBikes are NOT permitted onsite or to be charged onsite

    Post Procedure (please see your Accommodation Team for if this applies);

    • I agree to Reception signing for and storing my post until its collection and agree that Cloud Student Homes do not accept liability for this post.
    • I agree that it may take 24 hours for my post to be logged
    • I agree to be contacted to inform me of parcel arriving
    • I am aware that Cloud Student Homes uses 'Parcel Tracker' to monitor and contact me about my parcels, and i agree to my contact information being shared for this use only

  • Cluster Access

    I am aware that access to my cluster corridor and kitchen is required for health and safety checks including, but not limited to;

    • Water temperature checks
    • Emergency Light Testing
    • Void room flushes
    • Smoke Head Inspection
    • Fire Blanket Checks
    • Kitchen Inspections
  • FIRE EVACUATION INSTRUCTIONS – DISCOVERING THE FIRE

     If you are in the room where the fire is, leave straight away, together with anybody else, then close the door. Do not stay behind to try to put the fire out.

    1. DO NOT use the lift.
    2. Raise the fire alarm by using your nearest fire alarm call point
    3. CALL THE FIRE BRIGADE – 999, or 112 using your mobile phone. Make sure you give them the full address of the property  and do not hang up before they have confirmed it.
    4. Inform a member of the Cloud Student Homes staff where the fire is.
    5. Report to the Fire Assembly Point
    6. DO NOT re-enter the building until told to do so by the Fire Officer.

  • Please see your Accommodation Team to be able to discuss further and complete a PEEP form for your requirements and to ensure your safety in our properties.

  • In line with Cloud Student Homes's Privacy Policy I am aware of the requirement in a situation deemed an emergency to share my information with my University Student Welfare Team/Police or medical services, and agree to this information being shared when serious concern is raised regarding my welfare.

    I am also aware that my emergency contact will also be contacted 

  • Your tenancy information is held with Cloud Student Homes and protected as per GDPR. 

    Your Accommodation has a Building Management Company which differs from Cloud Student Homes, therefore it is necessary to provide your;

    • Full Name
    • Room Number
    • Tenancy Start
    • Tenancy End
    • Email Address

    To the Building Management Company.

    This information is provided to the Building Management Company for the Health and Safety of both yourself and the accommodation.  On occasion as the Building Management Company they may need to contact you in regards to Health and Safety checks that are required within your room - this includes but not limited to;

    • Fire Detector Checks
    • Fire Equipment Checks
    • Kitchen Inspections
    • Risk Assessments

    And to keep you informed of any Facilities Emergencies and their resolutions.

    You may also be contacted regarding the arrival of your packages at Reception so that you can collect them directly.

  • Following your check in, please ensure that you are completing your Inventory Form once settled in your room.

    You will need to complete the Inventory Form within 7 days of your check in date.  If you do not complete the Inventory Form then as per Section 5.12 of your Tenancy Agreement; 'then the Tenant accepts that it is correct as supplied'. CLICK HERE or scan the QR code below

  • Guest Policy

    Your guests are your responsibility, and any issues, complaints or damages will be referred to you.

    Please note that you will need to sign your guests in and out for fire safety requirements, and overnight guests can stay a maximum of 3 nights over a 14 day period.  For extended stays you will need to gain permission from your Accommodation Team, and may be at an additional cost.

    Guests should be met at the front of the Accommodation and escorted around the property, at no time should any guests be provided with the keys/fobs to the Accommodation

  • GYM DISCLAIMER

    Use of the gym facilities are strictly at own risk. All persons entering the Gym and using the amenities and facilities do so entirely at their own risk and subject to the following conditions:

    • This premise is monitored by CCTV surveillance. This is a privately owned property, and the owner, manager and operator of this premise reserves the right to refuse admission or entry to any person.
    • The owner, manager and operator of this premise, amenities and facilities and its directors, officers, employees and agents do not accept any liability for any injury, loss or damage of any property arising from the use of the gym facilities, regardless of the cause thereof.
    • The gym equipment has been designed for reasonable adult use only. Improper or unauthorised use of the gym equipment may result in serious harm to the body or premise.
    • If you have or suspect you have a health problem, you should consult a doctor before using the gym equipment. Only water is permitted in the workout areas. No food or other drinks are permitted.

    Please follow equipment directions carefully.

    Users of the gym facilities agree to report any fault or damage to equipment to a member of staff immediately.

    I agree to the terms and conditions outlined above regarding the use of the gym facilities at my accommodation.

  • Council Tax Liability

    Council Tax is not included in rent as defined by Section 3.

    As a full time student (requirement as per Section 2.6.1) you should be liable for a Council Tax Exemption Certificate. It is your responsibility to provide the certificate to the Accommodation Team within 7 days of your enrolment.

    Should an exemption form not be provided to the Accommodation Team or you are no longer a full time student, and Council Tax is applied, this liability lies with you and not Cloud.

    Deductions to your deposit will be taken where a Council Tax cost has been attributed to your room (as per Section 5.13.3), and an additional invoice should this exceed your deposit
