Rules for Special Session Proposal
The theme of the Special Session should be in alignment with the themes and topics of the Symposium. However, Special Session Proposals with significant contribution to the objectives of IABSE will be considered.
The Scientific Committee will assess the validity of the proposal and send its decision to the Session Organizer(s). In the case of similar proposals for a Special Session, the Scientific Committee will inform all proposers. Priority will be given to the first submitted proposal.
If approved, the session objective text will be made available in the Prague IABSE Symposium website.
After approval of the Special Session Proposal, the session organizer(s) must send a list with a minimum of 5 papers with its corresponding titles and author(s), to email@example.com until the 15 April 2021. The abstracts must be submitted before the deadline for abstract submission.
The submission of a paper for a special session is made as a regular submission through the online platform at https://www.czech-in.org/cmPortalV15/Portal/iabse22/normal.
The limitation of two papers by registered presenting author also comprises papers sent to a Special Session.
Session organizer(s) will be provided with a certificate attesting the organization of the Special Session. Session organizer(s) are not eligible to reduced fees other than those specified in the IABSE Symposium website.
