I am aware a special licence is required to allow alcohol to be sold from my site. (Special licences can be applied for at any time, but must be submitted no later than 20 working days before the start of the 2026 Southern Field Days event. Please check with the Council regarding the statutory non-processing days over the Christmas/New Year period. You are advised to have your applications submitted no later than 5 December 2025 - link below.For all off sale licences, alcohol must be in sealed bags when sold to customers. If customers open product onsite, it will be confiscated by either the Southern Field Days Committee or Police.I acknowledge it is my responsibility to ensure customers are made aware that they are not to open and consume their purchase on the property of Southern Field Days (including the carpark).Staff will be aware of the rules and regulations

These apply to ALL site holders who will be providing alcohol (complimentary or for sale)

We will serve alcohol responsiblyWe will not serve intoxicated personsWe will not serve minorsNo ID, No Service, No ExceptionsWe will not allow intoxicated persons to enter or remain on the premisesWe will provide and promote a wide range of non-alcoholic beveragesWe will have free water available at all times (requirement of the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012)We will provide and promote our foodThese Terms and Conditions are strongly communicated to our staff and helpers and they know the intoxication assessment tool (SCAB), see below definition.I agree that if we do not adhere to our obligations under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act, then we will potentially face a ban from providing and/or supplying alcohol at the Southern Field Days. It is important that we act responsibly.Last drinks will be 4:30pm each day and everyone off site by 6:30pm.I agree to have on display signage that will be supplied by Southern Field Days to be put on display when setting up our site. Signs will be with entry tickets.
Describe the steps that will be taken with the management of minors (under 18 years old) around alcohol such as service of alcohol to minors and the supervision of minors*
Describe the steps that will be taken around identification checks and the security arrangements regarding these checks.*
State the alcohol, low alcohol and non alcoholic drinks that is intended to be supplied. Describe the food you will have available at all times while alcohol is being served. *
Describe the entry points into your site and where the hospitality area will be set up (eg in a fenced area within a marquee or on a lawn area outside of marquee) but within your site*
Explain the staffing and management for where the alcohol will be served on your site and explain the systems in place to prevent the service of alcohol to prohibited persons*
Explain the maximum number of alcoholic drinks which will be served per person.*
Describe the size and types of vessels that alcohol will be served in e.g. glass, cans, plastic bottles, glasses. It is preferred where applicable to avoid glass*
Describe your Fire evacuation plan you have in place with your staff. Please note Southern Field Days have an evacuation plan in place and you and your staff will be guided if an evacuation is to occur*
Describe the systems you have in place for identifying people who are displaying signs of being influenced by alcohol, explain your intervention measure and provide details how people will be managed on your site should they become intoxicated.*
Provide details should anyone need to be removed and how this will be managed.*
