Anyone, including students, travelling to the UK from abroad must:
Undertake a Covid (PCR) test 3 days prior to travel.
On arrival in the UK:
Isolate at either their destination or a Government approved, managed quarantine hotel. *
Undertake 2 further PCR tests on day 2 and day 8 of isolation.
* if travelling from or through a country on the Red List, will be required to isolate in a Government approved, managed quarantine hotel as part of their quarantine package.
The University will contribute up to £210 towards the cost of the PCR tests for:
Current students returning from their county of domicile* to continue their course
New students commencing a course in September or October 2021.
*Country of Domicile is your normal country of residence when you are not undertaking full-time education overseas. This may be different from your nationality and is specified by you on your application to the University.
Completed applications with supporting evidence submitted between 1st July 2021 and 30th September 2021 will be paid between 18-30th October 2021.
Please ensure that you submit the evidence before 30th September 2021. Evidence submitted after 30th September 2021 cannot be considered.
