  • The dish loan program provides accessible, convenient dishes for Leon County departments and divisions. Our goal is to substantially reduce the amount of waste generated during group, department and County events. Borrowing reusable dishes is a vital step towards the County's commitment to waste reduction initiatives and honoring our single-use plastics protocol. The loan is free, which allows employees, departments and divisions to both save money and reduce waste by reusing resources.

    Please complete the Dish Loan Request form as far in advance of the event day as possible. Please Note:

    • Dishware cannot be delivered, and must be picked up at the Office of Resource Stewardship on 1907 South Monroe St.
    • Dishes must be washed and sanitized using Servsafe guidelines (found here) before returning then to the Office of Resource Stewardship.
    • Any questions about the dish loan program can be directed to the Office of Sustainability at LovettK@LeonCountyfl.gov
