  • Please Note: We use an extendible water brush for cleaning high windows and we can only clean windows up to the second floor. The water brush will clean away dirt and debris, but we are unable to scrape away anything that may be stuck on the exterior of second story windows.

  • Please Note: All prices given are estimates. We will provide a free quote once you have provided pictures or we have conducted an on-site visit. The actual quote will depend on the degree of soiling, the exact type and size of the furniture, and the distance from our shop. A 10% discount applies for each pieces of furniture added.
  • Area Rug Cleaning

  • Please note:

    1. Bear Cleaners & Supply does not clean rugs made of viscose or rayon. Viscose and rayon are synthetic fabrics that are very easily damaged in cleaning. Due to this fact, we do not accept rugs made of these materials. You can usually find a tag on the underside of your rug with information on the type of material. See here for more details about viscose and rayon.
    2. Bear Cleaners & Supply does not accept rugs that have had repetitive pet accidents and/or strong pet odours (e.g., doggy smell). However, we can clean average to light pet odours and stains.
    3. Bear Cleaners & Supply will do a thorough free, assessment of the rug. After which, we will advise you if we can clean it and give an estimate

  • Health and Safety Statement: No Contact Pick up and Drop off

    Please advise us of any Flu like symptoms that you or someone that you have been in contact with may have so that we can take the appropriate precaution measures. If you are having a rug picked up from your house, we ask that you please have the rug close to an entrance, if possible. If the rug is too heavy to lift, please ensure that our technicians can safely access your rug without contact with any household members. Please ensure all pets are safely in a separate room.

    If you can safely lift your rugs, you can drop them off at our shop Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00 pm.     If possible, please include a photo of the tag on your upholstery (typically found underneath the middle cushion on a couch) with information about the type of material the upholstery is made of. For rugs, this tag is found on one of the underside corners.

  • Health and Safety statements: No Contact Cleaning

  • Keeping in mind the health and safety of your houshold and our technicians, please read the following:

    1. Please ensure that our technicians can safely access each area without any contact with household members.
    2. Please remove small furnishings and personal items from each area that requires carpet cleaning. If you are moving larger furniture yourself, please ensure that this is done before our technicians arrive.
    3. If our technicians are moving furniture, please ensure that small items and china are removed from cabinets and drawers so we can safely move large furniture.
    4. As much as we love your furry friends, please ensure your pets are kept safely in a separate room.

    1. What are your hours of operation?

      Our usual upholstery cleaning times are between 9:00am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. We do have limited availability on Saturdays, however the wait time may be longer than for other days.     3. How soon can you come by for in-home cleaning?

      We will get back to you to confirm your appointment as soon as possible. Next-day appointments are possible, however the exact time frame depends on our current workload.

    4. Is there anything that you won't be able to clean?

      We do our best to clean each piece of furniture, rug, and carpet our customers need cleaned - if it can come out, we will get it out! Our 35 years of professional cleaning experience is behind each and every job we take on.

  • Area Rug FAQs

    1. What is involved in the assessment process?

      First, we need to get your rug to the shop. We are offering contactless pick up and drop off by appointment only at this time.

      Next, we determine the type of material, confirm the size of the rug, and determine the type of material to see if the rug can be cleaned safely. We conduct a dust test to assess if the rug needs our dusting treatment, use a black light to find any stains that may not show up under normal light, and we conduct a colour dye test to ensure that the dyes in the fabric will not run during the cleaning process. We will then get back to you with a free estimate before beginning any cleaning.


    2. How long will it take to get my rug cleaned?

      It all depends on our workload at the time. We typically get an assessment done within 48 hours of receiving the rug. The cleaning and drying process takes one to two weeks.
