This April, Alephs and BBGs from around the world will participate in one-of-a-kind exchanges with ZWST in Germany and JDC's AJT in the Former Soviet Union. Read more about these opportunities and apply below!
Ambassadors to Germany | April 16-18
Participate in a virtual weekend journey throughout Germany alongside Alephs and BBGs from around the world. We'll explore the rich history and current institutions of the German Jewish community to gain a stronger sense of global Jewish responsibility and strengthen our Jewish identities. Along the way, we’ll be connecting with the local teens and chapters of ZWST—BBYO's sister movement in Germany. This special experience will be filled with learning, laughter, and an unforgettable Shabbat.
Ambassadors to the Former Soviet Union | April 18-20
Join an esteemed delegation of Alephs and BBGs embarking on Ambassadors to the Former Soviet Union. Explore the rich history of the FSU among a global cohort of teens passionate about strengthening Jewish life worldwide. Participants will leave this experience with new friends from around the world, new leadership skills, and a renewed sense of global Jewish responsibility.
All members from around the global BBYO Movement are invited to join. Russian-speaking Jewish teens are highly encouraged to be a part of these experiences. No specific BBYO leadership criteria are necessary.
Each experience will be a few hours per day during times in which all teens worldwide can participate. While itineraries are being finalized, we recommend that you hold the entire three days as free. All participants will be expected to run a follow-up program in their community and may be invited to submit a reflection about their experience to their local press.
Each experience is $36 USD which includes three days of virtual touring, cooking, learning, and meeting friends from around the world and an exclusive Ambassadors swag pack. Need-based scholarship is available by emailing nhausler@bbyo.org.
Ambassadors to Germany and Ambassadors to the Former Soviet Union have been made possible with the generous support of the Genesis Philanthropy Group.

Applications are now open for both experiences. By submitting an application, you are committing to being available and attending the experience if accepted—beyond extenuating circumstances.
