Bristol Pride 2021 will be heading back to Castle Park. Covid has had an enormous impact on everyone and we want to make sure we can get the LGBT+ community back together in a safe way.
2021 will see the Parade set off from Queen Square and head off to Castle Park. Castle Park will be a much smaller event than in previous years but will be home to a fantastic food market, a family area, a youth area as well as hosting some great pop up street performances.
Our food area is an important and vital part of the attendee’s day. The event is free and has open access. The Market will be located on the hard standing near St Peters church so this is a fantastic spot for a sunny Saturday in July! The parade will arrive in Castle Park around 12noon and we’re currently in talks with the council on how late you can trade until.
Presence at the event provides your organisation with a unique opportunity to showcase your support of and reach members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. We are now the UK’s largest FREE pride and also attract thousands of non LGBT people to the event who are keen to show their support – Our Allies!
Stalls will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and organisations are encouraged to sign-up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment – we are oversubscribed every year. Until both booking form and payment is received, we cannot guarantee your place for the day.
Pitch fees are £750 with a reduction to £650 if you offer a reward for those who purchase our wristbands, power is included in the cost. Examples of wristband offers include money off, free upgrade etc.
NEW ECO BOND - There will be a refundable £30 ecobond applied to your booking which will be refunded post festival providing you have met our eco criteria.
- Leave no trace – leave your pitch how you found it and bag all your waste properly
- No single use plastic – this means all drinks must be canned. Strictly no plastic cutlery or plastic serveware.
You will be required to be onsite to set up on Saturday 10th July. Full and further details will be sent after your booking has been confirmed.
The booking form below will ask for copies of your public liability, food safety and any other relevant safety forms and certificates such as gas safety so please have these ready to upload with your application.
We'd also like to reassure you that in the unfortunate circumstances of festival cancellations due to Covid-19, you will receive a 100% refund on any deposits paid. Please check out our websites for our Covid-19 statement and action plan, which includes adjustments we are making to the site and also new trading procedures.
We will be taking all necessary precautions and will only go ahead if we feel it’s safe and socially responsible to do so.
