I understand that my responsibilities as a host for a call are as follows:
1. I will use the username and password provided to join the Zoom meeting 5-10 minutes before 7:30 pm CST.
2. As attendees arrive on Zoom, I will admit them into the virtual space.
3. I will ensure that I ask each participant to mute their device, or I will mute the participants myself once the designated reader begins their session.
4. I will use a LAPTOP (must) to host (as this method will allow streaming to my Facebook page), and Bee TrU staff will then copy the link and share it to Bee TrU on Facebook.
5. Script that I will use when hosting:
"Hello world, I am (your name), the host of the Bee TrU Book Read. I want to thank you in advance for joining us.
Either...
A. I will read (book title)
OR
B. Our guest will read tonight who will properly introducing themselves and state the book title.
6. When the reading is complete, the host will say...
