  • Each participant at Marlboro is provided a single dorm room on campus. Because our facilities are limited and can easily become overcrowded, overnight guests are generally not allowed. Spouses, however, are always welcome, and brief stays by significant others may sometimes be arranged with prior approval.

In order to assist us as we prepare for on-campus accommodations, please indicate your marital status (your answer will have no effect on your admission to Marlboro).

  • Please note that there is an assessed cost of $7,000 to attend Marlboro. However, through contributed and endowed funds and our senior artists' generosity, extensive fellowship support has been provided. In keeping with this spirit of generosity, participants are asked to contribute $250 towards their costs, to be paid during the summer season (this contribution may be waived for participants traveling from abroad or in the case of financial need).

  • Please note that musicians at Marlboro Music are not paid to perform. Singers accepted to the program will be provided with a full fellowship, housing and meals, in addition to a modest stipend of $250 per week (a total of $1,750 for the seven-week program) to help cover expenses.
