Eye-CARE Summer Camp Registration

Monday, June 16 - Wednesday, June 18

The format will be hybrid, allowing participants to select either in person participation at the College or virtual participation via Zoom (although participants are strongly encouraged to pick one format for the entirety of the camp)

Over the course of a three-day summer program, Eye-CARE camp aims to prepare prospective applicants for the rigors of the optometry school application process and health professions programs more broadly. Eye-CARE will simultaneously expose participants to the dynamic future of the profession.

Camp Participant Eligibility: All are welcome. General camp registration should be submitted through the form directly below by Friday, June 13th.

Eye-CARE Camp Resources

Although travel stipends and OAT resource bundles are limited and highly competitive, we encourage all eligible individuals to express consideration. If you are not awarded a travel stipend or OAT resource bundle, then you are still eligible to attend the summer camp either in person or virtually.

Travel Stipend Consideration: Participants who have demonstrated academic promise and who will benefit from a travel stipend may express interest for consideration toward a $400 travel stipend for summer camp travel to the state of New York in late June 2025.

Applications for travel stipend consideration should be submitted along with general camp registration through the form directly below by Friday, May 16th.

OAT Bundle Consideration: To be considered for the OAT resource bundle, you must submit an application, identify as an underrepresented in optometry (URiO) individual (including students from low-income backgrounds (based on federal guidelines) and first generation college students) and be actively pursuing an optometric degree.

Applications for the OAT Resource Bundle should be submitted online by Sunday, June 1st. You must submit the general camp registration prior to completing the application for the OAT Resource Bundle.
