Criteria for consideration - the applicant shall be a Humboldt High School graduate who:
- Is a graduate during the current academic year, or
- Currently enrolled in a program for a certificate, two-year degree or four-year degree, or
- Is enrolled in an Industrial Education program (teaching program), or
- Is enrolled in a construction-related trades program
The scholarship will be a minimum of $500. Financial need may be considered, but will not be the determining factor.
Other information
- Scholarship checks will be issued in the name of the recipient and the school at which he/she will be furthering their education. The recipient will provide proof of a 2.5 GPA minimum after the first term of study before the check is mailed to the student. The check will be mailed for the second term use.
- At the regular meeting of the Nokomis Woodworking Club in June, we will honor the recipient and family. The recipient will be asked to introduce him/herself and family members present, and give a brief overview of academic plans.
