Pop-Up Market at the Columbus Museum of Art 2021
Craftin' Outlaws is partnering with the Columbus Museum of Art for weekly Pop-Up Markets. Hosted on Saturdays with shopping hours of 10am - 3pm from May - September, 2021. The Pop-up markets are hosted outside CMA, located on the pathway that leads to the front doors of the Museum. CMA and Craftin' Outlaws are following the CDC and State of Ohio guidelines of maintaining distancing between vendors and mask wearing. A total of nine vendors will be allowed each week. (5) 10x10 spaces on grass and (4) 6 ft table space, under glass awning with wall space behind. Vendors are responsible for their own tents, tables, chairs and hand sanitizer. Vendors are responsible for all taxable retail sales. Exhibitors are expected to have a vendors license and follow all State guidelines for collecting and filing sales tax. Juried vendors will have the option to choose a date and space. We are currently accepting spaces for the month of July. Applications for this month will close on June 1. Individuals will be notified by email of status. There is no fee to apply. A vending fee of $115 is required two weeks after acceptance date and before receiving additional sign up information. Accepted makers will receive additional information and choose their dates and spaces. Accepted makers will have the option to participate in one Pop-Up a month. Opportunities will be extended to past 2021 attendees for future dates using their original application. Additional payments required. A portion of from each table fee will be donated to the Columbus Museum of Art. An event contract will be extended between each exhibitor and CMA the day of the event. As Pop-Ups are held outside, Craftin' Outlaws will make a cancellation call 24 hours before a Pop-Up date. Makers are expected to follow Covid health checks required of the Columbus Museum of Art. Should an exhibitor be unable to meet the requirements of a Covid related health check: Craftin' Outlaws will extend a make up date(s) to the exhibitor for the following month, giving the exhibitor(s) requiring a makeup date first choice in dates. Refunds will only be extended if Craftin' Outlaws is unable to extend a make up date to the exhibitor. Instagram Takeovers: All accepted exhibitors will be extended a chance to participate in an online takeover of Craftin' Outlaws Instagram page. Grow your online presence through the use of our Instagram account. Applicants are provided two days to host and share products and techniques to our online followers. All exhibitors are juried to create a unique marketplace that represents a diverse background of applicants and genre of work. Craftin' Outlaws will handle promotions of Pop-Up Markets. The Columbus Museum of Art will serve as on-site coordinator for events. Craftin' Outlaws and The Columbus Museum of Art will not be held liable for loss or damage of goods or services.
