Thank you for your interest in applying for an active, on-site membership in the Society for Anomalous Studies. Please fill out this application to the best of your ability and submit it online. We will respond to everyone who submits an application and let you know if and when we will be accepting new, potential members.

It is important that you read our bylaws and code of ethics. These documents are the core of how the organizations is run. We also suggest that you visit our website, Facebook and YouTube channel. These sites will give you a good idea on how we investigate, where we investigate and the type of evidence we get.

There are many questions in the application regarding your experince in the paranormal field. Please note that prior experince and owning equipment is not a condition of membership. Genuine interest in the frontier sciences and the paranormal are just as important as experince and equipment.

Filling out and submitting this application does not guarantee that you will be asked to start the process to become a member of SAS. Bringing new members on board only occurs when current members leave or become inactive, we need to fill a specific position or our case load increases resulting in the need to train new investigators.

Please note that as stated in the bylaws, indivduals asked to start the membership process are given a six month trial period to train and see if they are the good fit for the team. This also gives each individual the time to decide if we are the correct team for them.

Doing paranormal investigations can be rigorous requiring investigators to carry heavy equipment, climb steps, be on uneven floors, be exposed to extremes in temperatures, investigate in dirty and dusty areas, stay awake during long investigations and work in the dark. Are you physically able to do this type of work?
