Good photos are crucial to identify species, age and injury and get them in the correct hands as quickly as possible. 

We do NOT have a phone number. If you found one online somewhere, it is old information. This is the correct way to get in touch with us.

We are entirely volunteer run and unfortunately are not available 24 hours. We do the best we can to respond promptly.

If the bird is not located near a street address, describe where it is currently located. Be sure to include city/town. Examples would be "Bidwell Park, picnic area #8, Chico" or "Vacant lot at the corner of Lott and Esquon, Durham", etc.

Would you say that the bird is a baby, young, or an adult?

Does the bird have any visible injuries?

Describe to the best of your ability why this bird needs a rehabber (baby found away from its mother, appears injured, etc.)

If the bird is not currently at your home, are you able to stay with the bird until a rehabber contacts you?

Is there anything else we should know?
