  • Welcome to BRAINTREE FARMERS’ MARKET ~ 2021-22

    Braintree Farmers’ Market Mission:

    • To provide fresh, local produce directly from farmers to residents;
    • To support our local farming industry’s ability to remain healthy and sustainable;
    • To educate our community about healthy eating, maintaining a healthy environment and sustainable living;
    • To provide a weekly social experience to enhance our Braintree community.

    Braintree Farmers’ Market vendor commitment will total approximately 30 farms/artisans. Vendors will be selected on a case by case basis by the quality of products and how they complement the market. The deadline for applications and space payments is April 8th, 2021. Braintree Health Dept. permits are due by May 14th, 2021.

    The Braintree Farmers’ Market will be located at:
    Braintree Town Hall Mall
    One JFK Memorial Drive (Washington Street)
    Braintree, MA 02184

    Time & Dates:
    Braintree Farmers Market (BFM) will be held each Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine, beginning June 19, 2021 and ending October 16, 2021 with a Thanksgiving Holiday Market on November 20, 2021, for a total of nineteen (19) Saturdays for the 2021 season. We are also offering four extra dates on Feb 5, March 5, April 2 and May 7, 2022 that are optional and will be held inside the Braintree Town Hall if Covid restrictions are lifted. Braintree Farmers Market, Inc. will provide an on-site Market Manager and Cashier for Market Moolah for each week the market is held. The Market Manager will be on site starting at 7:30 am for market set up.

    Site Options:
    10’ x 10’ @ $30 per week/$570 Full Season (Deposit: $285)
    10’ x 20’ @ $60 per week/$1140 Full Season (Deposit: $570)
    10’ x 30’ @ $90 per week/$1710 Full Season (Deposit: $855)

    Four extra dates (optional) during the winter/spring season would be:
    10’ x 10’ @ $30 per week/Four Saturdays $120

    Pay in full by April 8, 2021 and take a 10% discount.

    Refund Policy:
    No refunds will be issued.

    Visiting Vendors:
    For those interested in “visiting” the market for one or up to four Saturdays, the charge is $40 per day, on a case-by-case basis. Please complete this application and then contact us for additional details by emailing Donna at donnai@braintreefarmersmarket.org

    Documentation/Permits:
    All documentation and related permits/insurance certificates must be submitted prior to participating in the Braintree Farmers Market.

    • I understand that my Application will not be considered without my submission of a completed Application, 50% deposit, Liability Insurance Certificate, Braintree Board of Health Permit (where applicable), and Liquor License (where applicable) and my signature below.
    • I further understand that the Braintree Farmers’ Market (BFM) may approve or deny my Application for participation in the 2021-22 season. If denied, I understand that my deposit will be refunded, and I am eligible to re-apply in 2022.
