  • Request for Professional Development Training Proposals

    Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

  • The Axelson Center seeks proposals from individuals or teams who are interested in leading virtual or in-person trainings for nonprofit professionals on one or more of the seven Hallmarks of Nonprofit Managerial Excellence℠: Mission and Program; Leadership and Governance; Strategy and Innovation; Human Resources; Financial Strength and Performance; Resource Generation and External Relations; and Accountability and Integrity. The Axelson Center's Hallmarks of Nonprofit Managerial Excellence℠ are the essential elements of a successful nonprofit organization. When implemented, the Hallmarks will help move an organization forward on the path of mission fulfillment and better position it for long-term sustainability.

    As you develop your proposal, please consider how diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) may impact the topic you propose. While DEI may not be the explicit focus of your session, being aware of how these issues may impact your audience is helpful to consider.

    Sessions may last from 60 - 180 minutes and will be hosted on the North Park University campus (3225 W. Foster Ave., Chicago, IL) or on Zoom with production assistance from Axelson Center staff. A small honorarium will be paid to presenters whose proposals are accepted. You may submit more than one proposal.
