    What is a Special Olympics College Club?

    Special Olympics College Clubs is a movement that connects college students and faculty with individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports. A Special Olympics College Club functions as an official club recognized by your school. The three components are Unified Sports, Youth Leadership, and Full Campus Engagement

    The purpose of Special Olympics College Clubs:

    The Special Olympics College Club initiative intends to create a more inclusive community that allows for Special Olympics athletes and college students/faculty to develop a greater respect for one another.

    How to start a Special Olympics College Club on campus with Special Olympics Georgia

    1. Complete the application and send it to Logan Gross (contact information below)
    2. Logan will then connect you with local Special Olympics agencies in your college's area. Expect a reply within
    3. Visit the link below in order to view the "Special Olympics College Starter Guide" and start planning events for your Special Olympics College Club program! Refer to pages 6-8 in particular.
