• CPRS-VI Denis Racine Bursary 2022

Since 2010, the Canadian Public Relations Society of Vancouver Island (CPRS-VI) has made it easier for Vancouver Island's public relations professionals to stay current in their field. In memory of the CPRS-VI past-president Denis Racine, CPRS-VI provides at least one Vancouver Island member an annual bursary to support their educational goals. In 2017, the bursary was increased to $1,000. In 2021, with the support of the Racine family, we changed eligibility so any CPRS-VI member could apply. To be eligible you must be: a CPRS-VI member in good standing for more than three months, registered in a communications-related post-secondary educational program and currently enrolled in two or more courses. Applicants must be a resident of Vancouver Island or the Gulf Islands. Considerations for selecting a recipient include community involvement, academic excellence and career objectives that contribute to the field. Questions? Contact cprs.vi.treasurer@gmail.com. Deadline: May 1, 2022 at midnight. The bursary recipient will be named by the end of June, 2022.
