Completing this application is a step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Effingham Retrievers, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.
Here at Effingham Retrievers, we consider everyone family. Once you buy a puppy, you will always be apart of our Effingham Retriever family. Here is some information you can use when purchasing a puppy from us.
- Deposit: IF YOU FOR SURE WANT A PUPPY AND WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITING LIST, WE ASK A $300 WAIT LIST FEE BEFORE THE PUPPIES ARE BORN. Once Puppies are born, we will keep everyone updated so they can pick their puppy in the correct order of their deposits made. Puppy pick will be by the color of their collar. Once you have decided which puppy you want, depending on the litter/parents/colors, we require a $300 non-refundable deposit to hold your puppy until pickup and it will be deducted from the total pricing. Your puppy will always wear that color collar and they will go home with it. We ONLY refund deposits if something unfortunate happens to the puppy in our care OR instead of deposit refund, we allow you to pick a different pup (if available) OR hold your deposit until a future litter. Refunds on puppies ARE NOT required from us, we will work with you if you cannot keep the puppy or need to find a new home. The remaining balance will be due upon puppy pick up. Deposits are to be made via square through our business.
We DO NOT allow home visits due to puppy safety and our families safety. We do offer pictures/videos throughout their process of growing.
- Pick Up: Puppy pickup will be between 8 weeks old; Puppies will go home with a puppy packet including; a collar, a toy, puppy food, treats, and puppy pads. We ask that the final payment of the puppy be paid via our business. We also offer delivery/meeting.

FULL REGISTRATION $1500
FULL REGISTRATION CAN ALWAYS BE PURCHASED AT A LATER DATE IF YOU PURCHASED LIMITED REGISTRATION. If you have not registered your dog it will be $500 to purchase full registration. If you have registered, there will be an additional $100 charge due to use having to change paperwork and contact AKC to get paperwork arranged.
