  • Each Getting Started session will provide an overview of the mandatory campus evaluation process, advice for starting your application, and information on the Fulbright summer boot camp. There will also be plenty of time for Q&A.

  • The Fulbright for First-Years and Sophomores: Plan Ahead! sessions are meant for students who are preparing to apply for Fulbright in the next several years. These sessions will discuss the selection criteria and what Fulbright is looking for in applicants. Based on these criteria, NCA will provide recommendations on activities, organizations, and experiences you can become involved in to help prepare you for your future Fulbright application.

  • The Teaching English Abroad for Non-Teachers session is designed for non-Education majors planning to apply for the ETA grant, although Education majors are welcome to join! In this interactive workshop, we’ll discuss cultural differences that can affect teaching and how to translate your experiences and qualifications into a competitive ETA application.

  • In our Life as a Fulbrighter session, UC alumni Anna Shepard (BS in Medical Sciences) and Yasmine Bougacha (MM in Violin Performance) will be joining us remotely to discuss what it's like to be a Fulbrighter. Anna is currently an ETA in the Czech Republic, and Yasmine is completing a Study/Research Arts project in Italy.

  • Join four of UC's 2025 Fulbright applicants at our Fulbright Open House for lunch and conversation about what it’s like to apply for a Fulbright grant.
